Deleting, replacing or adding a site

What happens when you delete a site, how to add one, and what to do when you reach your site limit.

Adding a site

Go to Settings → Sites, then add the domain you want to connect.

Each plan has a site limit: Starter includes 1 site, Pro includes 3 sites and Ranker includes 10 sites. If you reach the limit, ChatSEO asks you either to upgrade or to delete an existing site.

Deleting a site

Deleting a site is irreversible. It removes the data attached to that site, including its conversations, analyses and documents.

Do not delete a site as a temporary “swap” if you want to recover its history later.

Replacing a site

If you have reached your limit and want to connect a new site, you have two options:

  1. Delete an old site if you no longer need its history.
  2. Move to a custom plan if you want to keep the old site and add more sites than your plan allows.

If you need more sites without increasing your credits or seat count, mention it in the chat: the team will make a proposal that fits.

Disconnecting an integration is not deleting a site

Disconnecting Google Search Console, Google Analytics or a CMS only cuts access to that data source. It is not the same as deleting the site from your workspace.

If your goal is only to reconnect a different Search Console property or CMS, do not delete the site: update the relevant integration instead.
